Pioneer CDJ-1000 Digital Turntable

A lot has happened since Pioneer released this awesome product back in August, 2001. However, after checking out the competition of new products, we have to say - Pioneer is still the champ in this domain!

While other players have been able to emulate the real-time scratching on CD's that dj's have craved for years, the CDJ-1000's large jog dial blows away any other product out there. The touch sensitive platter provides the feel that the vinyl dj is used to. Since the sensitivity is adjustable, just about anyone can customize the settings to match their preference.

The Hot Cue feature is great for performing live remixes and the Loop In / Out Adjust allows you to perform tricks in the digital domain that just wasn't possible on vinyl.

The Master Tempo makes sure your mixes sound right, without inviting Alvin and the Chipmunks along for the ride. For those dj's who burn their own CD's, you will be happy to know that CD-RW is not an issue here!

If you are in the market for a new turntable - stop - look - and seriously consider moving over to the digital domain. Check out the CDJ-1000 at Pioneer's site.
